Terms of Service
Effective October 18, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FieldView website at fieldview.ai, the FieldView application at app.fieldview.ai, our mobile and smart-glasses apps, and the inspection pages we deliver to vehicle owners (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by FieldView Technologies, Inc. (“FieldView,” “we,” “us”).
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a dealership, repair shop, or other business (a “Customer”), you agree to these Terms on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so. If a Customer has signed an order form or other written agreement with FieldView, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
1. The Services
FieldView lets technicians record a narrated video walkaround of a vehicle and turns that recording into a completed multi-point inspection and a short video that the vehicle owner can watch and respond to. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Accounts
The Services are intended for business use. Customers are responsible for the people they invite to use the Services (“Users”) and for all activity under their accounts. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential, provide accurate account information, and tell us promptly at contact@fieldview.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Customer content
“Customer Content” means the videos, audio, images, transcripts, vehicle information, inspection results, vehicle owner contact details, and other material that a Customer or its Users upload to or create with the Services. As between you and FieldView, the Customer owns its Customer Content.
The Customer grants FieldView a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Customer Content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services, and as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Customer is responsible for its Customer Content, including:
- having the rights and permissions needed to upload it and to let us process it;
- giving any notices and getting any consents required by law to record video and audio in its facility, including of employees and visitors; and
- getting any consent required by law before we send text messages or emails to vehicle owners on its behalf, and honoring requests to stop.
4. AI-generated results
FieldView uses automated systems, including speech recognition, computer vision, and language models, to fill in inspection results, flag possible issues, summarize findings, and translate content. These results can be incomplete or wrong.
A qualified technician must review and approve every inspection before it is sent to a vehicle owner. FieldView does not inspect vehicles and is not a substitute for a technician’s professional judgment. The Customer is solely responsible for the condition assessments, repair recommendations, estimates, and work it provides to vehicle owners, and for any decision about whether a vehicle is safe to drive.
5. Vehicle owners
If you received an inspection video or report from a dealership or repair shop, that business sent it to you using FieldView. The business is responsible for the inspection, its recommendations, and any work, pricing, or warranty; any approval you give is an agreement between you and that business, not FieldView. Please contact the business directly with questions about your vehicle or your information.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services in violation of any law, including laws on recording, privacy, consumer protection, and telemarketing;
- upload content you don’t have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing;
- access the Services without authorization, interfere with their operation, or try to get around security or usage limits;
- reverse engineer the Services, except where the law expressly allows it;
- copy, resell, or sublicense the Services, or use them to build a competing product; or
- scrape or use automated means to access the Services except through interfaces we provide for that purpose.
7. Fees
Paid plans are billed as stated in the Customer’s order form. Unless the order form says otherwise, fees are due within 30 days of invoice, are non-refundable, and do not include taxes, which the Customer is responsible for.
8. Our intellectual property
FieldView and its licensors own the Services, including the software, models, design, and trademarks, and all related intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant Customers and their Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for the Customer’s internal business purposes during its subscription. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
9. Third-party products
The Services may work with hardware and services we don’t control, such as smart glasses, phones, dealer management systems, and messaging carriers. Your use of those products is governed by their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them.
10. Suspension and termination
A Customer may stop using the Services at any time, subject to its order form. We may suspend or end access to the Services if you breach these Terms, if fees are overdue, or if we reasonably need to in order to prevent harm to the Services, other users, or the public. After termination, we will delete or return Customer Content as described in our Privacy Policy and the Customer’s agreement. Sections 3 through 5, 7, 8, and 11 through 15 survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIELDVIEW DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES OR ANY AI-GENERATED RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIELDVIEW WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES. FIELDVIEW’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS THE CUSTOMER PAID FIELDVIEW IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $100.
13. Indemnification
The Customer will defend and indemnify FieldView against third-party claims arising from its Customer Content, its inspections, recommendations, or repair work, or its or its Users’ violation of these Terms or of law, and will pay resulting damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
15. General
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with any order form and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and FieldView about the Services.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for material changes we will give Customers reasonable notice, such as by email or in the app. Continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.
17. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to contact@fieldview.ai.
